Angus M. Strachan
Dr. Angus Strachan is a clinical psychologist. He is known for his work in high-conflict family disputes. He has worked with hundreds of families facing the challenge of divorce or separation, as a mediator, custody evaluator, parenting plan coordinator (PPC), and family therapist. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at University of California Los Angeles (“UCLA”) where he teaches family therapy with children and adolescents. He received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at UCLA and conducted postdoctoral research on treatment approaches with major psychopathology both at the Institute of Psychiatry in London and the Neuropsychiatric Institute at UCLA. He was on the committee of the Los Angeles Family Bar that wrote the new PPC stipulation.
