Karyn Searcy
Karyn has worked with families dealing with communication disorders since 1977. She is active on several research projects and is a co-investigator for SoCal BRIDGE Collaborative. The founder of Crimson Center for Speech & Language in 2003, Karyn merged her clinics with TERI, Inc in Oceanside, CA. She has been a clinical supervisor of graduate students at San Diego State University for 10 years and has many publications, including her book Early Intervention for Speech & Language: Empowering Parents, and two chapters in speech-language textbooks and several journal articles. Karyn taught a CEU class from 2006-2010 throughout the country and has been presenting nationally since she was a graduate student at the University of Illinois in 1975.
