PRESENTER BIO

Stacey Platt

Stacey Platt is a clinical professor of law and Associate Director of the ChildLaw Clinic at Loyola University Chicago School of Law.  She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin and her law degree from New York University School of Law.  Ms. Platt and her clinic students represent children in legal proceedings, focusing on private custody disputes.  Ms. Platt also regularly teaches lawyers representing domestic violence survivors and children for the American Bar Association (ABA) Commission on Domestic and Sexual Violence and the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.  She co-wrote and appears in a video module of the ABA’s National Training Program on Representing Children in High Conflict Custody Disputes. She is on the editorial board of the Family Court Review.
