Leslie Ellen Shear
Leslie Ellen Shear, CFLS, CALS, IAFL is one of four California lawyers certified by the CA Board of Legal Specialization in both Family Law and Appellate Law. Leslie’ has an active appellate practice, consults or joins lead counsel in family court trial courts (custody, parentage, interstate and international issues) She contributes to the development of family law by writing legislation, contributing to journals, presenting at conferences, and through many published appellate opinions including the U.S. and California Supreme Courts. Leslie’s current projects include serving as a member of the AFCC Child Custody Evaluation Guidelines Task Force, co-chair of the ACFLS amicus committee, and as incoming co-editor of CEB’s Practice Under the California Family Code: Dissolution, Legal Separation, Nullity treatise.
