Nancy Kaser-Boyd

Nancy Kaser-Boyd, PhD. is a clinical and forensic psychologist and is Board Certified in Psychological Assessment. She is Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Geffen School of Medicine, where she teaches Violence Risk Assessment. Dr. Kaser-Boyd was a research assistant to Dr. Lenore Walker when Dr. Walker was conducting seminal research on battered women. Dr. Kaser-Boyd has conducted research on battered women who commit homicide and on whether battered woman can malinger the effects of Intimate Partner Violence. She has taught workshops on domestic violence for psychologists and lawyers and written widely about Intimate Partner Violence. She conducts comprehensive evaluations of individuals involved in domestic violence and has testified as an expert witness in Criminal, Dependency, and Family Law Courts.
